When I first went to http://www.hostmonsters.com I thought for 5.95 a month id get what I paid for but I was very pleasantly surprised. The service, speed and reliability are excellent and way better than my previous host.

I have been with them for several years and host 22 websites on one hosting package. My previous web hosting company probably meant well but after paying a software wizard to install a custom shopping cart site they decided to change PHP and it all crashed down – $$$ wasted. So I went to Hostmonster. Tech support has ranged from great to OK but the deal is good all in all.

Their customer service alone makes the company worth doing business with. Phone, email, snail mail or chat. Answers phone, chat within 2 minutes. Email 1/2 hour to 1 hour. They speak English, so you understand them. They are friendly and give clear, uncomplicated advice. An amature can webmaster like a pro. No more needs to be said. HostMonster is the MONSTER!

I wanted to remove the dedicated IP I had purchased but then didn’t really need. They wanted the old credit card number I had originally used. 3 years and a divorce ago, I don’t know the last four digits. Well they wouldn’t take the charge off future years, I tried to reason with them but to no avail. So I renewed the domain names so they couldn’t keep them from me, and looked for a new provider. I don’t have time to play games with supposed tech support. Strange how I renewed the domains with them, like I told them I would. Used the email on the hosting account to communicate with them. But still they demanded my old CC info. So now I am gone, and I guess they are still waiting for me. Find another place, you’ll never know what you avoided.

This was my first time running a website. Hostmonster was great and easy to work with. I was able to figure out the interface on my own and keep the website updated after the initial build. Great company

Too many tech support handling the same issue requesting the same info and not solving the problem for 4 weeks. Erogant and uncompetent.

I have been with Host Monster for the last 5 years and although I am paying higher price than is current for unlimited hosting, their tech support and up time has been outstanding. My only complaint with them is that they dont have better site builder for those of us who dont know how to design and although they have open cart as a software they dont offer support for it
